I am a fifth-generation Weddington resident who grew up on The Hunter Farm — a place that reflects my family’s deep roots and our commitment to preserving the rural charm that makes Weddington unique. Our family ensured that The Hunter Farm will always remain a farm by protecting its open space through the Catawba Lands Conservancy.

After graduating from Sun Valley High School (Wedding High School had not been built yet) and UNC Charlotte, I built my career with Young Life Ministries and later in other fields while living in Arizona, where I met my husband and we raised our identical twin boys. Even while living away, Weddington was always home. Every summer, we returned to help on the farm and continue our 50-year family tradition of vacations at Sunset Beach.

In 2025, my family permanently returned to Weddington so our boys could attend Weddington High School and experience multi-generational living alongside their grandparents. Today, I am a wife, soccer mom, and community advocate, actively supporting organizations that invest in youth and families.
